3 July, 2023 (Hong Kong SAR) – Indulge in an immersive sensory evening at Regent Hong Kong on Friday,14 July with the launch of an exclusive series of Champagne tasting events. Discover artisan Champagne with the hotel’s Sommeliers and engaging guest winemakers. During the tasting experience, our wine specialists will take you on an exploration of the captivating world of Grower Champagnes, featuring some of the most esteemed boutique wineries around the globe. They will share their in-depth knowledge and stories of each boutique Champagne along with insights on the bespoke and rare labels, as you discover the divine subtlety of Grower Champagne vintages and soak in mesmerising views of Victoria Harbour and the Hong Kong Island skyline. At the 14 July launch event with wine specialist Omtis, discover four selections from artisan Champagne House, Pertois-Lebrun, a family-owned estate that is one of several generations of winegrowers and Champagne makers closely linked to the Côte des Blancs since the early 1900s. Located in Crémant, a commune in north-eastern France’s Côte des Blancs, Pertois-Lebrun is run by brothers Clément and Antoine. Their ambition is to express the finesse and elegance of Chardonnay, while revealing the variety and individuality of their 44 plots which represent a mosaic of terroirs, each with its own separate identity. To achieve this, they apply eco-responsible winegrowing techniques, giving priority to the life of the plant and the microbiological composition of its soils, while voluntarily reducing the vigour and yields of its vines. The wines undergo nine months of maturation on fine lees without filtering or fining in a variety of stainless steel, concrete or stoneware tanks or oak barrels. The result is a collection of exceptional wines which reveal the diverse facets of their personality.

Additional Champagne tasting events are scheduled on Friday, 15 September showcasing exceptional vintages of Champagne Tellier Les Massales Extra Brut and Friday, 10 November featuring Champagne Vilmart & Cie.
